North British Railway 4-4-0 Bouch (1852)
Built as a loco for the SG Edinburgh Railway between 1852 and 1853, these 4-4-0 locos were used for freight duties, shunting chaldron coal wagons, hence the special buffer arrangement. Spacing was for standard and special buffers on the small chaldron wagons used extensivly throughout the North British scene. The wagons were small to facilitate entrance and use in the small mine tunnels
What is depicted here is a set of 5 of these locos, all different, with names and tested for TRS2004 & TRS2006, include footplate crew, animated coal loading, user selectable headcodes and taillamps and footplate views, as well as 'real' rivet detail and pierced wheel splashers. Livery either ER Green or ER Crimson.
