South African Suburban Coaches 3ft6 Gauge

As South Africa has a large number of cities, as they expanded into the suburbs, these coaches were designed to carry workers from the suburbs into town to work. These coaches were built in the '20's, but were so successful for daily transport, were in use until the 70's, and indeed several are still used for tourist routes. These models are on 3ft6 bogies to suit the track supplied. All are passenger enabled, with opening doors, and with inside views to get the feeling of travelling aboard these coaches whilst viewing the South African scenery.

Coaches feature detailed interiors, passenger enabled with opening doors, several interior views. They include 3 levels of LOD. There are 5 coaches to the pack, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Composite and Brake 3rd. Each coach has user loadable destination boards, a selection of 10 supplied with the pack.

These detailed coaches are $4 each with 12 months warranty. Or $20 for a set of 5 (please specify weathered or unweathered) including 10 destination boards.
