Thes coaches were introduced to the Isle of Man in the late 1800's and served the Manx people, as well as the thousands of tourists, until the late 1950's. These coaches are the first of a set of 12, the 3 shown are No1, a First class coach, the other is a composite, with First, 3rd compartment, as well as a Guards compartment which travelled at the rear of a train, and has a special rear looking window. The last pics are of No16, a 8 wheel bogie Compo Brake coach. Coaches are available in partially weatherd (as shown) or fully weathered. All coaches are Industry enabled for the embarkation of passengers at enabled stations. Windows are partially open to allow the cool breeze into the compartments.
