Cabforward 4-8-8-2 SP AC11 Class

The pack contains 3 different AC11 Cabforwards 4-8-8-2 locos with 3 different tenders, real rivet detail where applicable, animated driver and engineer figures, animated doors and windows, special texturing techniques, including 12 months warranty, all updates and fixes for $18 US. Individual locos are available at $10 each. Please add $2 each loco/tender for full weathering or the shiny brass.
The model utilises Industry enabling for oil and water, and has animated cab crew, windows and doors. Three different tenders are included in the pack. Special texture mapping techniques are used with real rivet detail where applicable. Custom Horn and bell sounds. As this is such a popular request, I will put ANY Railroad/number on them, just let me know and I will oblige. You can see by the pics, several requests for non-standard Railroad, one is hauling my Big Hooker railroad crane. There is one pic of the 'shiney brass' option.

COMPATABLE WITH

The Southern Pacific Railroad introduced the Cabforwards or Cabfronts to haul heavy freight (mainly coal) in the Southern USA. They were called 'cabforward' because they were built to run backwards, with the cab in the front, and tender in the rear. Of the many different classes of cabforward, this class, the AC11, some 30 were made. As the firebox was at the front, and the tender at the rear, all were fuelled with oil.They were withdrawn in 1958/9, none survived into preservation, with the exception of 4294, which was a similar SP12 cabforward.
