NSWGR C38 4-6-2 Loco

The C-38 class was designed and manufactured between 1943 and 1949, and the class included 5 streamlined, and the remainder non-streamlined versions as shown. They were initially constructed by Clyde Engineering Co, then by the NSWGR in the Eveleigh (even no's) and Cardiff (odd no's) Works. The non-streamlined version were numbered 3806-3830 and all were withdrawn between 1961 and 1973, but gladly 3 remain in preservation, 3813, 3820 and 3830. Weight 195 tons 2cwt, tractive effort 36,200 lbs.

These Trainz TRS2004 and TRS2006 tested locos features animated driver/coalman, animated coal loading, cab details, 4 cab views and realistic rivet detail. Livery options are green unlined , green with yellow lining, black unlined, black lined, green with red/yellow lining. This is a high detail model with approx 30,000 poly. Numbers in the pack will be the preserved locos (3813, 3820 and 3830) other numbers available when placing order.

The C38 pack for $15US comprises 3 different C38 non-streamlined locos and matching tenders, animated driver/coalman, animated coal loading, cab details and cab views, 12 months warranty. Individual locos available for $8US, add $2 per loco for weathering.
