Big Hooker Crane

The Big Hooker was built between 1902 and 1905, and used extensivly by PRR and other railroads, primarily for the lifting of locos/cars in tunnels. The central section contains the crane controls at each end, with crew living quarters in the center. Note that is a large piece of rolling stock, exceeds 150ft when coupled with the tenders front and rear.
